Student Leadership

All students have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their leadership skills. We offer numerous ways for students to get involved, including:

• AMA Safety Patrol: Student patrollers help ensure the safety of classmates crossing the intersections in front of the school.

• Green Team: Eco-minded students lead environmental initiatives, manage school recycling, and promote sustainability.

• Meyokumin Announcements: Student announcers share daily news, school events, and birthday wishes over the PA system.

• Library Club: Student volunteers help organize books, assist with checkouts, and keep the school library running smoothly.

• Reading Buddies: Older students pair up with younger peers to foster a love of reading and build confidence.

• Yellow Bus Helpers: Responsible helpers assist Yellow Bus supervisors and ensure younger students safely board and exit buses.
